AuctionAndGo Managed Payments

Coming soon · You run the auction. We’re building buyer checkout and seller payouts.

Seller fees & payout rules

Upcoming managed-payment service — not active yet. These rules apply only to new AuctionAndGo-managed sales after launch and your separate acceptance of the seller payment agreement. Current seller invoices and existing orders keep their original terms. Version 2026-10-22-payments-v4.

Know the cost before you list

8% seller transaction fee per paid sale, calculated on the item price plus seller-collected shipping and handling, before deductions. Sales tax is excluded. The fee is rounded to the nearest cent per sale and deducted from proceeds once; it is not charged again when those proceeds transfer.

Actual payment-processing costs and actual payout costs allocated to your payment will be separately itemized and deducted without an added markup. Rates, any fixed charges, and an estimate must be shown and accepted before you list under managed payments. A final statement will reconcile actual charges; the same provider cost cannot be charged twice. No additional discretionary administration, complaint, or penalty fee is authorized by this policy.

Existing live-room rental and $3.99 timed-listing fees remain separate and are disclosed before purchase. Any tax legally due on platform fees is separately disclosed. No buyer premium is added by this policy.

Live-auction sales limits

$5,000 gross sales limit per booked live auction until the seller completes ten verified consecutive qualifying auctions without seller-responsible problems. After ten, the limit rises automatically to $15,000 per booked live auction. A substantiated seller problem resets the qualifying streak and the limit to $5,000 for new exposure. A longer booking does not multiply this limit.

Winning item prices, current accepted bids and declared shipping/handling consume the limit; sales tax does not. Invoice cancellation, unpaid orders and later refunds do not replenish the awarded-sale budget. Bids or starting prices/reserves that exceed the remaining budget are rejected; declared shipping cannot take the total over the limit. Already accepted bids are not erased when a seller is downgraded.

Progress is based on verified platform records, not a seller-entered count or unverified payment screenshots. Historical external invoices do not automatically qualify. While payments still occur off-platform, AuctionAndGo can enforce bids and declared shipping on its site, but cannot control an invoice amount a seller changes outside it. Sellers must not split activity or use related accounts to evade limits. These are per-auction limits, not a cap on a seller's combined unsettled balance across multiple auctions.

When proceeds become eligible for release

Mature qualifying auctions determine the tier for new payments
Seller recordHold
Initial review or fewer than 5 mature qualifying auctions10 business days
5–19 mature qualifying auctions after initial review5 business days
20 or more mature qualifying auctions after initial review3 business days

Payment confirmation starts the clock. The payment date is day zero. All holds use America/Chicago time, excluding weekends and Federal Reserve Bank holidays. A Sunday holiday is observed Monday; a Saturday holiday does not close the preceding Friday under that calendar. An eligibility date is not a guaranteed bank-deposit date.

Initial review cannot be skipped by running many sessions quickly. Each auction counts toward advancement only after its paid sales have completed their own initial ten-business-day review, all sold items are fulfilled and all issues are resolved. The qualifying history must include at least two independent buyers; self-dealing, related accounts and manufactured history are prohibited. Repeat genuine buyers are allowed, but one buyer alone cannot establish advancement.

After initial review clears and sufficient mature auctions qualify, new payments may receive the five- or three-business-day hold. Existing assigned holds are not shortened retroactively. Any unresolved seller issue blocks seller payouts until reviewed and resolved. A substantiated seller problem resets the qualifying streak and returns the seller to ten-business-day holds. Provider funds must also be available and required seller verification complete.

First release and large initial balances

The first seller-level release is limited to $20,000 in net seller proceeds, after the initial ten-business-day review and owner review. The limit applies across the seller's auctions combined; it is not $20,000 per session or per payout request. Fees, tax, refunds and documented debt are deducted before determining net proceeds. Multiple requests must not multiply this allowance.

Excess initial proceeds wait at least seven additional business days after the initial review eligibility date, and must still satisfy their own payment-age, fulfillment, provider-availability and issue-resolution checks. Later-paid sales do not become eligible merely because an older sale completed its review. The additional hold is not an indefinite discretionary hold: the statement must identify the affected amount, eligibility date and any unresolved reason preventing release. First-release decisions require owner review.

There is no seller-wide cumulative sales ceiling. Sellers may run back-to-back booked auctions, each subject to its own $5,000 or $15,000 cap. These sales limits are separate from payout holds and the initial-release limit. Premium membership does not bypass them.

Temporary paper-check payouts — planned option

At managed-payment launch, AuctionAndGo may temporarily offer owner-issued paper checks, only after the payment provider permits the arrangement and the payment workflow is ready. This option is not active today. Before you commit to managed sales, we will disclose the available payout method, check-issuance schedule, standard mailing method, estimated delivery time and any delivery cost.

Checks may be issued only after the applicable business-day hold, initial-release limit, owner review and all other release conditions are satisfied, and settled funds are available. A deposit into AuctionAndGo's bank account does not mean the seller has been paid. No Monday deposit or check-mailing schedule is promised. Your statement must show the amount, deductions, eligibility status and actual check-issuance date; mailing and bank collection take additional time.

You may request overnight or other expedited delivery where available. We must quote the actual delivery cost and obtain your approval before purchasing it or deducting it from your proceeds. The cost will be separately itemized without markup or duplicate payout charges. Expedited delivery starts after check issuance; it does not shorten a hold or guarantee when your bank makes funds available. Carrier service and destination restrictions apply.

Checks will be payable to the verified seller's legal payee name and sent to the seller's confirmed mailing address through a secure payout process. Missing, damaged or unreceived checks must be reported to support for tracking, reconciliation and, where appropriate, stop-payment and replacement review. A replacement must not create a duplicate payment. This policy does not authorize an automatic reissue or an undisclosed replacement fee.

Owner refund review and buyer reporting

No automatic refunds are authorized. Requests go to the owner's review inbox and are queued for the configured owner email. Neither submitting a request nor recording an approval automatically sends money; any platform refund execution requires a separate explicit owner-authorized payment action.

Buyers should report problems promptly, preferably during the initial ten-business-day review. This is a reporting preference, not a cutoff of rights. Legal rights, payment-provider dispute deadlines, chargebacks and legally required remedies may extend beyond that period and cannot be waived by this policy. Issuer or processor actions are outside the owner's refund approval control. Report through Request owner refund review or email auctionandgo817@gmail.com.

What counts toward a faster tier

One completed live auction event counts once, regardless of the number of lots. One completed timed listing counts once. An event qualifies only when it has at least one paid sale, is closed, all sold items are paid and fulfilled, and it has no unresolved issues or seller-responsible refund, chargeback or substantiated complaint. Unsold, canceled, unpaid and test auctions do not qualify. Fake sales, related-account trades and splitting activity to manipulate tiers are prohibited. Current externally paid invoices do not automatically establish a managed-payment history.

A substantiated seller problem, seller-responsible refund or upheld seller-responsible chargeback resets the consecutive count to zero and returns unreleased proceeds and future payments to the 10-business-day tier. Five new consecutive qualifying auctions restore five days; twenty restore three days. An unsupported complaint does not automatically reset a tier. Pending complaints or disputes pause seller payouts while reviewed; we give the seller notice and an opportunity to supply evidence.

Refunds, chargebacks and amounts owed

Sellers remain responsible for their merchandise, truthful descriptions, lawful shipping, delivery and required remedies. They authorize AuctionAndGo to offset documented amounts they owe from available proceeds immediately and then from future proceeds before any payout. This includes seller-responsible refunds, actual chargeback debits and actual related provider costs to the extent permitted by law and the accepted payment agreement. Only the amount owed may be recovered; tax reserves are never used to pay seller debts.

If proceeds do not cover an amount owed, the unpaid balance remains due. Closing an account or stopping auctions does not erase it. A provisional offset for a provider dispute debit must be identified as provisional and reconciled; amounts recovered twice or returned after a dispute is won must be credited back. A bank debit requires separate valid authorization and processor support; this policy does not itself debit a bank account.

On a full or partial refund, the 8% transaction fee is recalculated on the retained item and shipping amounts, reversing the difference. Applicable tax is adjusted through the payment/tax records. Actual provider costs that are not returned may remain payable when the seller is responsible. AuctionAndGo-caused errors are reviewed separately and are not automatically charged to sellers. Refund and chargeback recovery must be reconciled to prevent double recovery.

AuctionAndGo may hold affected proceeds for an unresolved dispute, suspected fraud, legal restriction or provider requirement, with the reason, affected amount and review status recorded. An additional rolling reserve or new fee requires a specific disclosed schedule and acceptance before it applies; none is established here. Holds do not eliminate later chargebacks or AuctionAndGo's own obligations.

Tax and payment verification

Managed checkout will collect applicable sales tax on taxable sales using item classification, customer location and valid exemptions. Tax is excluded from the 8% fee and from seller payouts, tracked as a tax liability and reserved for remittance. Activation requires confirmed registrations, working tax calculations, reporting and a separately reconciled tax account. The policy does not create a bank account, register a business, or certify collection is already active.

Every seller receiving managed proceeds must complete the payment provider's required verification and provide required tax information. This is separate from an optional public identity badge. The provider must confirm payment through authenticated server records; a buyer receipt screenshot or return to the website is not payment proof.

Limited payment-collection appointment at managed-payment launch

For new managed-payment sales, the separately accepted seller payment agreement appoints AuctionAndGo as the seller's limited agent to collect and process buyer payments for the seller's goods. The seller authorizes AuctionAndGo to tell buyers, in the listing, checkout and receipt, that it accepts payment on the seller's behalf.

When AuctionAndGo receives a buyer's payment on the seller's behalf through the designated payment processor, the seller treats that payment as received by the seller and the buyer's payment obligation for that amount is satisfied. The buyer does not bear the risk that AuctionAndGo later fails to remit those funds to the seller and cannot be required to pay that amount again because of such a remittance failure. This does not waive lawful claims regarding a payment that was never made, fraudulent payment, or a subsequent payment reversal; required buyer rights remain intact.

This collection appointment is limited to purchases of the seller's goods on AuctionAndGo. It does not authorize cash transfers, stored-value wallets or unrelated money transmission. The appointment, seller notices and actual funds flow must all be in place before relying on a legal exemption. This advance notice is not a certification that a licensing exemption has been granted.

Acceptance, statements and support

Before managed payments apply, sellers must separately accept the versioned seller payment agreement and the complete fee schedule, including the 8% basis, provider-cost deductions, payout timing and debt offsets. AuctionAndGo will record account, agreement version and acceptance time, show the terms before listing or booking, and snapshot the applicable rules for each new managed order. The sale statement must show gross, shipping, tax, every fee, refunds, debt offsets, held proceeds and release status. No change is applied retroactively to existing external invoices.
