What is the difference between live and timed auctions?
Live auctions take place in a scheduled seller-hosted room. Timed auctions accept bids on item listings until their closing time. Check the current listing and auction rules before bidding.
What does a timed auction listing cost?
A timed listing costs $1.99 and is configured for a 60-hour auction. AuctionAndGo retains the $1.99 listing fee for rules or seller issues. Verified platform-caused interruptions receive manually arranged replacement time credit rather than a standard cash refund; required legal rights still apply. Review the listing terms and closing time, including any applicable bid extensions, before publishing or bidding.
Is the seller application free?
Yes. Applying to sell is free. Approval is required; live-room rental and timed-listing fees are separate from applying.
Who receives payment for auction items?
Buyers pay sellers directly through their invoices. AuctionAndGo collects platform room-rental and timed-listing fees. Seller-confirmed item payments are not independently verified by AuctionAndGo.
What happens if AuctionAndGo has a technical failure?
If a verified AuctionAndGo platform failure interrupts paid auction time, contact auctionandgo817@gmail.com with the auction or listing ID and interruption details. AuctionAndGo will review the interruption and arrange replacement time for the affected service as a time credit. Credits are handled manually; they are not automatically added or redeemed by the website. The standard remedy is time credit rather than a cash refund. This policy does not limit refunds or other rights required by applicable law and does not replace a seller’s obligations for item purchases.
